This project seeks to better understand the impact of covenant marriage in contemporary society.
Researchers collect phone survey data regarding general opinions and attitudes about marriage and divorce. They are specifically compiling information about the knowledge and attitudes toward covenant marriage?a legally recognized form of marriage where couples commit to taking all reasonable measures to preserve their union.
Through this information, researchers are determining who is supportive of covenant marriage, who is not, and why. The data will also serve to compare responses in the future to see if attitudes about these subjects are changing over time.
