This study is exploring the role of men in families and discover ways to measure their parental involvement. This project is based on the book titled, Appraising, Assessing, and Measuring Father Involvement.
Since many factors influence the way fathers are perceived and behave, defining fatherhood is difficult. To simplify this task, the study will answer nine specific questions about the following issues: defining fatherhood, men's role definitions, commitment to parenting, the relation of father involvement to children's well-being, fathering research, and policymaking.
