Perceptions and Coping Responses of Children with Severe Disabilities and Their Siblings

This study is focusing on the challenges faced by families of children with severe disabilities; more specifically, the impact that disabled children have on their siblings.
The study is designed to answer the following questions:
- What are the perspectives and experiences of school aged children with siblings who have severe disabilities?
- How do siblings' perspectives and experiences vary according to age and gender?
- What are the perspectives and family experiences of school aged children with severe disabilities?
Data for this project is being taken from interviews with parents who have disabled children, their sibling's diaries, drawings, and photographs.
