This project will explore how first time fathers with culturally diverse backgrounds feel about their experience becoming fathers and being a part of the birth process. There is little information about the paternal childbirth experience, and even less about the experience of culturally diverse fathers. The information gathered in this study will be useful to those in the family science and health care professions.
