This study will examine collected intake data from the Utah Division of Services for People with Disabilities to quantify family crisis indicators using family history, family dynamics, family stress, family composition, ability to self-direct, and other intake information as well as information about the family’s child with a disability and that child’s problem behaviors indicated by Inventory for Client and Agency Planning scores. The study will also help families problem solve by providing behavioral education and intervention services to volunteer families. Then we will investigate whether the family education program improves outcomes for these families when child behavior improves.
