Spending Well has been developed in response to growing rates of personal bankruptcy, compulsive spending and materialsim especially among teens and early adults. The inlfuence of mass media, easy credit, and a growing consumer culture is underminung the well being of our communitites and their members especially among youth. Spending Well seeks to expose some of the false ideals and hazards associated with materialism. The curriculum has been developed and designed to help teens distinguish for themselves the difference between spending well or just living high!
