Moderators and Mediators of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Outcomes: Parentying, Personal and Relationship Factors
Jared Warren,
Psychology
The purpose of this study is to evaluate a number of important parenting, personal, and relationship factors in the context of child and adolescent psychotherapy. In doing so, this research aims to address two important questions in child psychotherapy: 1) "What factors are the strongest predictors of successful therapeutic outcomes?", and, 2) "When treatment works, why does it work?" In particular, increasing our understanding of parenting-related factors in the context of child psychotherapy may serve to enhance treatment planning and treatment outcomes for youth with behavioral or emotional concerns.
