Adolescent probationers are randomly assigned to the intervention or control groups. The control group receives business as use treatment from their probation officers while the intervention group receives the Real Victory program as well as anything their probation officer may require. Each probationer completes a monthly report card designed to assess their behaviors and attitudes for that month. Effectiveness of the program will be judged based on comparing the control and intervention groups rates of recidivism and group differences in behaviors measured by the monthly report card.
